Drawing is taking a line for a walk.
To paint is to take a stain for a walk.
These two statements will be the motto for the quick exercises that we will put into practice, using the human figure as the trail for our walks. The first series of exercises will show us the expressive potential of the continuous line, and the importance of opening our eyes wide to our model. The second series will reveal that the smudge is an incredibly effective tool in expressing the shape and volume of a human figure, or any other object in front of us.
The Lisbon Drawing Club is a community of artists that gathers regularly for life drawing model sessions and sketching workshops. Their MASTERCLASSES are drawing classes for all levels of experience with a guest artist who will help you gain new skills to our drawing sessions.
You can register at the event by clicking in the “sign up” button or simply show up at the event and they will let you in according to the space capacity. Limited spots. A donation of 7,5 euros is recommended to be able to properly pay our teacher and the organizers! They will provide materials at the session but if you want you can bring yours, such as pencil, pens and watercolor.
