Archaeological illustrations
Produced in 2023
Client: ICArEHB
This set of six digital illustrations highlight different aspects of the life of prehistoric humans. The habits, culture, environment and dangers that these ancestors of ours lived, as indicated by the researchers at ICArEHB, are featured in each of these pieces.
The piece with the most backstory is arguably that of the meeting between the interloper Homo Sapiens and the Neanderthal people. The greatest challenge in this illustration was to portray the uncertainty on the expression of the individuals of both groups. Can you tell what each is thinking?
